After a night out in Falmouth, got back to Newquay for lunchtimeish a little bit hungover only to find the surf at Fistral the best I've seen for a long while.

The swell had rapidly picked up over night with the approaching low pressure system and the increasing Southerly wind and the waves were just perfect. THe only thing spoiling it was the sheer amount of people in the water.

I got into the water and stayed near the rocks to avoid the big crowds with a couple of others. Caught some lovely big meaty waves and had a top sesh. Little Sue somehow made it out to the back and managed to catch a few biguns on the big foam board which must of been horrendous to cope with. Time for her to get a smaller board I think.

Was in the water for a good 3 hours and all the while the swell was decreasing so I left when the waves got down to the 3ft level. Top sesh apart from the decreasing swell.
